INVITATION TO TENDER

The Ministry of Sports Culture & Heritage Kenya (Sports Kenya) invites sealed tenders from eligible and competent contractors for Proposed Construction of Posta SportsGround – Nairobi County. Interested contractors must be registered in category NCA 1 and appear in the current Building Contractors register.
A complete set of Tender Documents may be obtained by interested candidates from the Head, Supply Chain Management Office, Kencom House Nairobi during normal working hours upon payment of a non – refundable tender fee of Kshs. 1,000.00.
The document may also be viewed and downloaded from the Sports Kenya website: www.minispoca.go.ke or www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Bidders who download the tender document will not be required to pay any fee.
All payments shall be made to the STATE DEPARTMENT FOR SPORTS, cash office. Upon payment of the tender fee, bidders are required to obtain an official receipt from the Cash Office and immediately forward their particulars to the Procurement Office for recording and for the purposes of receiving any further tender clarifications and/or addendums.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and should remain valid for 120 days. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the tender number and be deposited in the tender box provided at UCHUMI HOUSE, 11th Floor, Nairobi, or be addressed to:

so as to be received on or before –the date stated in the advert or letter of invitation to bidders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers representatives who choose to attend the opening at the boardroom. A mandatory Site visit will be (AS PER ADVERT OR INVITATION LETTER). An attendance register will be signed by all representatives of bidders. All prospective Tenderers shall assemble at the Site Posta Sports Ground, Ngong Road by 10:00 a.m. Tenders who fail to attend the mandatory pretender Meeting shall be considered nonresponsive.
