Let me start by thanking H.E the President, for the support that he has continually provided to our sports fraternity. His commitment to the development of our athletes, has ensured that sports remain an important element our culture, and guaranteed that we produce the best teams during global events.
Your Excellency,
I am pleased to announce, that Kenya emerged as the top African representative, during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. We garnered a total of 10 medals (4 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze) to secure our place amongst the top 20, best performing countries in global rankings.
Your Excellency,
This accomplishment, is a result of the diligence and patriotism of the athletes before you today. Their hard work over the years, has once again, placed Kenya on the global map, and furthered our reputation as the home of champions.
Their outstanding performance at the Olympics, is also testament of what we can achieve, when we create a shared vision for our country, and work together towards achieving that vision.

I would like to recognize, all our partners and sponsors, who have contributed to our victory at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Their generous moral, material and financial support, ensured our visibility during the event, and that our athletes were adequately prepared for the games.
