The 2020 African cross-country championships, originally scheduled for March 1st in Lomé, will be postponed due to the date of the Togolese presidential elections to be held on February 22 2020 – the Confederation of African Athletics just informed in an official statement.

A new date for the competition, which should now be held early April, will be determined in January
